Actress, Playwright, and Director in first year of training at the University of Worcester, studying Drama and Performance.
Current modules of study include:
Staging Plays: Practical explorations of Shakespeare, Webster, Strindburg and Jarry, focussing on performance forms and conventions.
Mask Acting: Working with Full, Half, and Quarter-Mask, studying Lecoq methods, Temperament masks, Commedia Dell’Arte.
Devising and Performance: Exploration of physical theatre companies such as DV8. Devising and performing our own pieces.
European Theatre Practices: Study of European Theatre practitioners such as Tadeusz Kantor, Pina Bausch and Jerzy Grotowsky.
Next semester will include the modules Puppetry and Visual Theatre, and Acting for the Stage. I am also a member of the University’s Musical Theatre Society, Loco Show Co.
